With the turn of the modern era, Capitalist states have become increasingly more powerful and relevant. Generation Z has been deemed the entrepreneurial age. As more and more people start up their own make-shift businesses, is difficult to see if they are trying to all make their dreams come true or if they are just in it for the money.
Sixty years ago, it was much harder to start a successful business. People who were starting businesses probably had to have a pretty good idea of what they were doing to make it work. There was no internet advertising, and much less media advertising; if you wanted to survive in the world of business, you had to be in it for the money.
Today, there is much more respect for the entrepreneur who just wants to make their dream come true, and it's so much easier now to represent the little guy. There is now a great divide between large businesses and small businesses. Corpirations like Coca-Cola and Sony are members of the universal Capital State, exempting them from many border specific laws, much like a celebrity. This only makes them this much more powerful, while the small businesses don't have such luxuries. This causes businesses to result to immoral marketing tactics to break free of these borders and become a member of the universal Capital State.
I believe that many entrepreneurs start off with good intentions. They just want to share their vision with the world, but no one is safe from human Greed; Capitalism is a slippery slope to demoralization. There are many good bourgeois, but it is the mega corporations we see in our media that are desensitized to the troubles of others, and of course, this is all we ever see.
This has been Matheson, your lord and master; stay classy, my heathens.
